Prio to the forthcoming August 1 nationwide protest billed to lament hunger and suffering, several social media influencers have derived pleasure adding more date to the proposed protect.

This saw activist Very Dark Man strongly criticizing the Nigerian government for the recent increase in prices of goods and services and further disclosed July 29 and August 5 should be added date for embittered Nigerians to voice out their agony. In a video statement, he expressed dissatisfaction with the governance style and openly stated his disapproval of the President. Very Dark Man called for a peaceful protest to address the economic challenges exacerbated by the hike in fuel prices, which he believes impacts all sectors of the economy.

He emphasized the importance of organizing the protests responsibly, with youth leaders taking the lead to facilitate constructive communication and negotiation with the government. Concerned about potential escalation, he referenced a video where someone suggested violent action, stressing his desire for a peaceful demonstration akin to the End Sars protests of 2020, which tragically resulted in loss of lives.

Very Dark Man pledged to participate actively in the planned protest in Abuja if it remains well-organized and peaceful. Known for his outspoken stance on societal issues, including political matters such as the whereabouts of Yahaya Bello, he has also engaged in conflict resolution among ordinary citizens, notably involving issues like scamming.

In a previous incident, he intervened in a dispute where Ashmusy owed a businessman one million Naira for an advert she failed to deliver, ultimately ensuring she repaid the debt in full.
