In a worrying development, some northern youths have started openly calling for a military takeover in Nigeria.

In a viral video seen, the aggrieved youths made the call while protesting against bad governance, hunger, and economic hardship in Kaduna State.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu in a broadcast on Sunday urged the protesters to suspend demonstrations and embrace dialogue.
But the protesters have vowed to continue their actions until their demands are met.
This disturbing situation has prompted some political analysts and activists to urge President Bola Tinubu to address the citizens demands.
A public analyst, @HaHayatu posted a video on X showing the Northern youths clamoring for the military to take over while men of the Nigerian army tried to address them.

He wrote:

“Youths are now openly calling for military take over of power in Nigeria. Tinubu please heed to some demand and save the democracy some of us fought for in the 90s. We cannot afford going back to the dark days, this young men making the call were mostly not even born 1999”.
