Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, revealed she was hospitalised with pneumonia infection for four days.

After being discharged, Rodriguez thanked the hospital for their care.

The 30-year-old in an Instagram story post said: “Finally back home! I spent four days at the hospital with pneumonia, I’m better now but still recovering at home with my family.

“I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff members, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital.

“They took care of me so wonderfully and I’m very grateful for that. Thank you all for such a great stay.”

The picture posted seems to confirm that she was treated at the Saudi German Hospital in Riyadh.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez are rumoured to have been dating since 2016 and have two children together.

In an interview with Italy’s Elle magazine, Rodriguez revealed how her and the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend’s relationship began.

“The first meeting with Ronaldo was at Gucci where I worked as a sales assistant,” explained Rodriguez, who recently admitted she couldn’t to wait to leave Manchester during the star’s second stint at Old Trafford.

“Days later we saw each other again at another brand’s event.

“It was then we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of my work environment. It was love at first sight for both.”

It has also been speculated that the two are now husband and wife.

During Rodriguez’s time in hospital, Ronaldo featured in Al-Nassr’s AFC Champions League 1-0 victory against Iranian team Esteghlal in Dubai.
