Grammy award-winning Nigerian superstar singer, Burna Boy has hinted reasons he delayed tying a knot with a lady.

The singer said he would rather be single as he react to the custody battle between his colleague, Davido and his baby mama, Sophia Momodu.

Amidst the ongoing public custody battle bid by Davido who was slammed with a counter-affidavit that cited negligence that made him lose his first son.

Burna Boy, while sharing his opinion stressed the outcome of taking a chance and refusing to listen to advice against relationships.

He wrote:
“Odogwu too wise” who no hear go FEEL.”

A fan had in reaction to his tweet questioned his decision to stay unmarried despite recently marking his 33rd birthday.

The fan wrote:

“Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”

In response, the ‘Last Last’ hitmaker said:

“Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him (Davido) dey face like dis?”

Burna Boy, however, disclosed that he admire the kind of love life between celebrity couple, Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi.

He said:

“Ehen! Na wetin we dey pray for be that bros.”
