Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake has outlined the significance of the Yoruba language in his music.

He claimed that he enjoys singing in Yoruba since it is widely spoken and understood and because it is essential to him.

sake stated during a NewsLive Prime interview that he views music as a feeling and that sometimes one does not need to comprehend it to enjoy its use on a smartphone.
In his words;
“Yoruba is so important to me. To me the way I understand music is that it is a feeling”, he said.
