The WhatsApp number of Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has been hacked, according to a statement from his spokesperson, Bolaji Tunji.

He urged the public to ignore any requests for financial assistance or support from the compromised number, 08022901928.

This incident follows a similar hacking of the WhatsApp number belonging to the Minister of Education, Prof.

Tahir Mamman, just days earlier, and the earlier hacking of the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh. Authorities are advising caution regarding communications from these compromised accounts.
