Nollywood actor and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi Awolowo has opened up on the challenges he faced while growing up in a polygamous home.
He made the revelation during a recent interview with renowned media personality, Chude Jideonwo, that his father disowned him and some of his siblings many times.

Seyi, who is the grandson of late Nigerian leader Obafemi Awolowo’s revealed how his dad made a list and kept detailed files on each of his children while growing up.

Seyi said;

“My father disowned me a couple of times. Not just me, a couple of us because my father married three wives.

“My father wrote letters to cut off his children, reducing our identities to mere names on a list. We all have files. ‘As of right now, your name is just Seyi, full stop’.”
