A Nigerian airline is receiving backlash on social media after famous sports journalist, Godwin Enakhena posted a picture of his meal during the flight, leading to disappointment among many online users.
He shared the image on X (previously known as Twitter) and voiced his dissatisfaction with the service and food, revealing that passengers were only given a single packet of biscuits and water.
Enakhena also mentioned that his morning flight was delayed to 2 p.m., which added to his frustration about the chaotic nature of domestic flights in Nigeria.
“Because of the anyhowness of domestic flight operations in Nigeria, my morning flight was rescheduled to 2 pm. This is what we were served on board!” he captioned the post.
Enakhena didn’t reveal the name of the airline, but his experience has started a bigger discussion about service quality, especially concerning flight delays and in-flight services on Nigerian airlines.
The post went viral, with many Nigerians sharing their thoughts on the poor standards and lack of customer care in local air travel.
