Controversial lifestyle influencer Bobrisky Okuneye has reportedly been arrested at the Seme Border while attempting to flee Nigeria for the Benin Republic.

The claim was made by popular critic Verydarkman, who stated that Bobrisky was apprehended by Nigerian immigration officers amid an ongoing investigation by the House of Representatives.

In an Instagram post, Verydarkman wrote, “Bobrisky has been arrested this morning at the Seme border while trying to enter Benin Republic to escape the current investigation by the House of Reps. He is allegedly being held by Nigerian immigration… LET’S WAIT FOR BOB TO RESPOND.”

This incident follows Bobrisky’s refusal to appear before a House panel after being invited to discuss leaked audio recordings in which he allegedly admitted to bribing officials to avoid prison, as well as claims regarding the dismissal of his money laundering case by the EFCC.
