The release of popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, from prison has been delayed due to an alleged miscalculation.
Originally expected to be released on July 29, 2024, Bobrisky’s release has now been rescheduled to August 5, 2024.
This change was reported by content creator Tosin Silverdam, who noted that Bobrisky’s team was informed of the error upon their arrival to pick him up. Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12, 2024, after pleading guilty to Naira abuse.
