Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has reportedly left Nigeria after claiming he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.

His departure follows his absence from a coroner court session concerning the late singer Mohbad and a planned protest at the Lagos State Assembly on September 30, 2024. Fabiyi alleged that there was a conspiracy against him related to Mohbad’s case.

In a video posted on Instagram, he expressed his fears for his life, stating, “If they had succeeded, I would have been buried tomorrow,” and emphasized that he was acting out of a sense of justice without financial motivation.

Currently in hiding, he mentioned he left Nigeria unexpectedly and is unsure of his next destination.
