A tragic road accident in the Abule Osun area of Lagos resulted in the deaths of a child and nine others.
The incident involved a passenger bus that collided with a parked truck.

LASEMA’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, reported that the accident occurred late Tuesday night when the bus, traveling at high speed, struck the truck, which was obstructing half of the road.

In addition to the fatalities, three individuals sustained critical injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Recovery efforts are ongoing, with emergency responders on-site to manage the situation.

The deceased have been transferred to the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit.
