Dr. Oladele Alake, Minister of Solid Minerals Development, has issued a warning following the unauthorized use of his phone number, 07078369363, by criminal elements famously known as Yahoo Boys.

According to a statement from his Special Adviser on Communities and Communications, Kehinde Bamigbetan, the minister disclosed that the hacker exploited his number to perpetrate fraud against unsuspecting members of the public.

In the statement released on Friday, Dr. Alake urged the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious calls made from his number to MTN and relevant security agencies. The minister emphasized the seriousness of the issue and advised the public to exercise caution to prevent further incidents of fraud.
