A Nigerian lady has shared warning after a family member died in a tragic fire caused by a phone being too close to cooking gas.
She posted her sad story on X (formerly Twitter), asking everyone to keep their phones away from gas cylinders and stoves.

In her post, she wrote: “Please don’t carry your phones near open flame 🙏🏾 I just lost my cousin this morning.”

She further explained the cause of the incident, saying: “It was a cooking gas explosion. I feel everyone should be aware of the dangers by now. It’s all very true.”

Her post received a lot of support and concern, as many people filled the comment section to share their feelings.
