Senate President Godswill Akpabio has stated that while some Nigerians continue to protest, he and other pro-government individuals will support and benefit from President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Speaking at a meeting in Port Harcourt, Akpabio emphasized that they are focused on backing the current government rather than seeking a regime change. He urged Nigerians to give the administration time to implement and mature its policies, acknowledging the current economic difficulties but assuring that the president is aware of these challenges.
“We are not interested in regime change. Let us own this government. Those who want to protest can protest. But let us be there eating,” Akpabio said.
