Two suspected cult members, Alimi Abdurasak and Eniola Shamsideen, both 18, were arrested in the Agege area of Lagos while allegedly seeking revenge for the killing of a gang member.

The arrest occurred on October 6, 2024, around 1:50 AM, when police from the Elere Police Station noticed the suspects trying to flee upon seeing an anti-crime patrol team.

Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrests, stating that the suspects are from the Oniwaya area.

A search of their black bag revealed two axes and two bottles. Investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are expected to face charges soon.
