FIFA has banned Samuel Eto’o, President of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot), for six months from all football-related activities.
The decision, confirmed on September 30, 2024, comes after Eto’o was found guilty of violating fair play rules during the Under-20 Women’s World Cup match between Cameroon and Brazil on September 11, where Cameroon lost 3-1.

Eto’o breached articles related to offensive behavior and misconduct of players and officials. As a result, he is prohibited from attending any matches involving Cameroon’s national teams across all categories and age groups.
