Award-winning Nigerian music star Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has stormed the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
The singer, in videos making rounds on Twitter, was captured at the hospital during his visit to his hometown. In the clip, the hospital was in chaos as everyone wanted to glimpse the famous superstar and shake his hands.
According to reports, Burna Boy, during his visit, paid the bills of all the patients in the hospital.
Additionally, he had also given out over N10million to students at the University of Port Harcourt. In his statement, he said he only came to Port Harcourt to show love to his people and those who need financial assistance like school fees.
“Na only love I come show my people o, those people wey need financial assistance like school fees”.

This is coming two months after he renovated an orphanage home in Port Harcourt. The Grammy singer, through the DashMe Foundation, had renovated Cheshire Orphanage Home, a home dedicated to providing care and support for individuals with disabilities or special neëds.
This came a few days after his rival, Davido, had announced his yearly donation to the Orphanages. He revealed that through his foundation, he would donate 300m to orphanage homes. He stated that the donation was his yearly contribution to the nation.
In an Instagram Live, Burna Boy revealed why he doesn’t chase clout with his giveaway. He stated that contrary to people’s perception, he does lots of charity work, mostly offline, because he believes the people who are in dire need of help are not on social media.
He made it known that he does giveaways to places that matter, to people that need it, and most of them are not on the internet.
