Top notch grassroots football administrator, Prince Suliamon Gbadamosi popularly known as Prince GAS, has urged grassroots footballers bracing for August 1 #Hunger Protest# to settle for dialogue.

Suliamon who also doubled as prince of a monarch, Onigando of Igando, Lagos, stated this in a chat with fast growing news website, www.bolajiokunola.com.

The soccer admin whose organized competition inspired several Super Eagles player’s to stardom, opined the outcome of the protest may lead to chaos capable of damaging the country’s image.

He however, appealed to footballers chanting protest, to remain positive despite the hike in prices of foods and commodities.

In his words: “ I think dialogue should be the our next move not protest. Go check my fact, protest in any form has never yield any positive result in this part of the world.”

“ I will buttress my point with the recent EndSars protest which rocked the nation in 2020. Many properties, goods owned by average citizens were looted and damaged and no compensation was brought forward by our government. Even multi-billion naira government properties were damaged.”
“I’m using this medium to beg all for the peace of the land. I know with time, things and prices of food and commodities will come to normal and Nigeria will return to her glory days,” he stated.

Prince GAS further highlighted football competitions which will be sponsored by philanthropist Iyke Madu-Obi, Cardinal James Odunmbaku and host of others will be stage to keep youths busy amidst the raging hunger protest.
