Nigerian afrobeats sensation, Rema has reportedly been paid $3M (N4.8B) has he arrived in India, ready to bring his musical flair to one of the year’s most anticipated weddings.

The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker is scheduled to perform at the wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s wealthiest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharmaceutical magnates.

The wedding, set for July 12 at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre, is the grand final of a months-long celebration by the Ambani family.

Rema’s performance costs an estimated $3 million for his chart-topping hit ‘Calm Down’. He’s in good company, with Justin Bieber reportedly earning $10 million for his visit, while pop icon Rihanna has already graced the event with her presence.
