The elder sister of controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly apologized to Nigerians for his recent actions, claiming that a family member may be spiritually influencing his behavior.
In a viral video circulating on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the woman, who identified herself as Portable’s elder sister, expressed her deep appreciation for the singer’s generosity, revealing how he financially supported her during a critical health crisis.
However, she accused a relative named Akeem of exerting a negative influence on the singer, alleging that he is responsible for Portable’s erratic behavior. She further claimed that Akeem had also been targeting her and urged the public to hold him accountable if anything happened to her or the artist.
“Portable has never stolen from anyone. He has been the one taking care of our family. If not for him, I wouldn’t be alive today,” she stated in the video. “If anything happens to me, Akeem should be held responsible. He is the one manipulating Portable and causing problems.”
Her statement has sparked widespread reactions, with many Nigerians taking to social media to express concerns over the allegations and the singer’s well-being.
