The house help of Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, has confessed to participating in her murder, according to reports from
section of the media.
Along with the security guard and driver, the house help was arrested after Aribemchukwu’s body was found at the entrance of her residence in Park View Estate, Ikoyi.
The house help reportedly admitted to the crime during interrogation, saying, “We do am. Na we do am.” The suspects allegedly killed Aribemchukwu inside her room and then dragged her body outside to make it appear as though she was killed as she was entering her home. They attempted to clean up the blood but missed some spots due to the night-time timing of the crime. Following the murder, they stole valuables from the residence.
Aribemchukwu, a newly married medical doctor, had employed the three suspects just a week prior to her murder.
