Nigerian clergyman, Gideon Odoma is currently trending online for his resemblance with French goal poacher, Kylian Mbappe.
It was gathered, Odoma, a televangelist described the comparison a disrespectful one.
He made the statement in a Twitter post in response to analogies made after a video of him preaching went viral.

A man simply identified as Seye had asked religious extremists if it was wrong to compare a cleric to a footballer.

He asked; “I hope it is not dishonour to say Apostle Gideon Odoma looks like Kylian Mbappe

In response, Odoma stated that he is older than the Real Madrid attacker and hence cannot be said to resemble Mbappe.

Quoting Seye’s post, he wrote; “It is. I am older than him. So, I can’t be the one looking like him. I was here, with this ‘look,’ before he was born. That’s why I can’t be the one looking like him. Any more inquiries?”
