Gunmen suspected of being kidnappers attacked The King Jesus and I Church in Asaba, Delta State, on the evening of July 30, 2024.
The assailants killed two policemen stationed at the church and abducted Ada Anioma Joan Onyemaechi, a former female commissioner and prominent community member.
As of the latest reports, the family of the kidnapped politician has not been contacted.
The Delta State Police Command has initiated a manhunt to locate the perpetrators.
