Organisers of the U-15 and free age Prince Gas football tournaments have announced registration forms are still in progress and urged interested teams to come for their forms before closing date.
Tourney coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi who shocked many with his ideology of promoting grassroots soccer to cool spectators mental health during the country’s harsh economy, stated this while addressing The Okunola Reports over the weekend that the registration forms for the two competitions are out and he is impressed with the number of teams keen on featuring in the tourney.
“I have received many club owners that are interested in both competitions but they are not showing finacial commitment as i am talking to you now.And i thank few clubs that completed their registration forms.
“Presently i am looking for some number of teams and once we get the numbers we are looking for, we would annouce the date for the draws and kickoff,” he said.
Commenting on the modalities for U-15 category, Gbadamosi revealed that only players that are weigh 52kg are eligible to play, while goalkeeper must be within 52kg through 55kg weight in order to gain accessibility.
Royal Warriors of Itele, Ogun State won the last edition as they are coming to defend the title won last year.
