The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced a new fee structure for passports to maintain quality and integrity. Starting September 1, 2024, the cost for a 32-page passport, valid for five years, will increase from ₦35,000 to ₦50,000. The fee for a 64-page passport, valid for ten years, will rise from ₦70,000 to ₦100,000.
