The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Kirikasamma Local Government in Jigawa State, Yahuza Umar Labbo, has passed away at the age of 55 following a brief illness. His death was confirmed by the state party chairman, Aminu Gumel. Labbo is survived by three wives and fifteen children. Governor Umar Namadi has extended his condolences to the family and the Muslim Ummah, offering prayers for Labbo’s eternal rest and for the family to find strength in their loss. The local government election in Jigawa State is scheduled for October 5, 2024.
