Controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, reportedly fell ill while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos. After spending a night in police custody, he was rushed to the Falomo Police Hospital for medical care.
A source disclosed that Bobrisky, who complained of chest and “breast” pain, was transferred from the FCID to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance. He was seen wearing a black gown, covering his face with a shawl, and lying down in the vehicle with license plate LND 339L.
Bobrisky was taken into custody by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday night after his arrest at the Seme border in Lagos during an alleged attempt to leave the country. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of his arrest, and he may remain in detention pending further developments.
The NIS, through spokesperson Kenneth Udo, confirmed the arrest, describing Bobrisky as “a person of interest.” The FCID is expected to release a formal statement about the case soon.
