The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced a new policy imposing a fee of N50,000 for candidates seeking to reprint their certificates. This decision was disclosed by NECO Registrar Dantani Wushishi in a recent statement issued in Minna, Niger State.
Wushishi indicated that the fee for certificate reprints is subject to periodic review, reflecting the council’s commitment to managing its resources effectively. He emphasized that requests for reprints will only be accepted within one year of the original certificate’s issuance. After this one-year period, NECO will not entertain any applications for reprints.

In addition to the reprinting fee, NECO has set a one-month deadline for candidates wishing to correct their examination results. This timeframe will begin from the official release date of the results, ensuring that candidates have a clear window to address any discrepancies.
