In a viral video circulating on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the incident sparked widespread criticism.
The footage shows the man and his neighbors confronting the officers, refusing to open the gate. In response, one officer fired a gunshot before climbing over the fence to gain entry.
Once inside, the officer unlocked the gate, allowing his colleagues to enter the premises.
