Blogger Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, recently revealed how he obtained a controversial phone recording of cross-dresser Bobrisky (Idris Okuneye) during a House of Representatives investigation into bribery allegations involving the EFCC and NCoS.
Initially reluctant to speak without Bobrisky present, VeryDarkMan was compelled by lawmakers to address the committee, where he explained that the audio recording came from a source claiming Bobrisky owed them money.
He alleged that Bobrisky paid ₦15 million to have money laundering charges dropped and that he also paid for a favorable prison placement. Bobrisky has denied these claims, while both the EFCC and NCoS are investigating the allegations.
The Nigerian Bar Association has called for an independent inquiry into the matter.
