A young football player collapsed on Sunday at Maracana Stadium in Ajegunle, Lagos, following a match in a scouting program hosted by the Shazam Football Team.
The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. after the game ended. An eyewitness confirmed the collapse, stating, “The player slumped after the match and was rushed to the hospital.”
The event, organized to identify young talent for recruitment, attracted many aspiring footballers.
While the player was seen alive but unresponsive during transport to the hospital, his current condition remains unclear, pending medical reports.
