However, a scandal arose when a TikTok blogger accused her of having an affair with Captain Ekeinde, the husband of her colleague Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.
The blogger alleged that she received a car from him as a birthday gift. Destiny quickly released a video to refute these claims, stating they were untrue.

She explained that she is still using her car from last year. Furthermore, she addressed a selfie with Captain Ekeinde, clarifying that it was taken over four years ago, not recently.
