The Lagos State Police Command apprehended individuals belonging to a syndicate engaged in fraudulent activities, specifically counterfeiting another sachet water company’s brand name and NAFDAC number.

This operation was conducted within Oluwole Market, Apapa.

Acting on a tipoff, police raided the facility on July 19, uncovering bags of sachet water and manufacturing equipment.

Confirming the arrest to LIB, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, disclosed that the suspects will face court proceedings once investigations are finalized. The investigation remains ongoing.
