Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu will make a definitive decision on the new minimum wage this Thursday following consultations with organized labor representatives.
The Federal Executive Council has already deliberated on the matter and plans to convene a meeting with labor representatives later this week, as mentioned by Idris.
President Tinubu remains receptive to a wage increase but is mindful of potential inflationary impacts.
